With the Promar brand, dedicated to on-board entertainment, Raymar launches its universal remote control. It is ideal for outdoors on boats because, its primary feature is that of being waterproof. It is ultra-thin and programmed with a library of codes that cover most of the audio/video devices on the market. All you have to do to set it is to enter the correct function code, according to the type of device that you wish to control. It can be set manually, in auto-search mode and learning mode: it is possible to transfer the functions from the original remote control to the universal one

SEATEC: INNOVATION SERVING MOOD AND COMFORT

At Seatec 2009, a forum for technology, supplying and design for small boats and yachts, the gamma offered by the many companies in operate is very thorough. Raymar, a company specialized in naval supplies for the audio/video and electronics industry, was also present at Seatec and had the opportunity to show a fantastic feat in LCD technology.  Built by Sharp, Raymar premiered their 108” LCD monitor, which stands as the largest on the market so far.  The monitor is measured at 2.4 meters wide x 1.3 meters tall with a diagonal of 2.7 meters, active TFT matrix system and a 1,920 x 1,080 full HD resolution.

RAYMAR BECOMES CERTIFIED MEMBER OF CEDIA

CEDIA – Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association – is an international non-profit association created in the U.S. in 1989.  Members of CEDIA are companies with a superior level of professionalism, specialized in planning, design, supplying and installing automated electronic equipment for modern and intelligent houses.  These home setups include multi-room audio, home theatre systems, complete domestic networks as well as AI controls for lighting, security and climate functions. CEDIA has set a goal for guaranteeing only the highest standards in professionalism, service quality and industry ethics for home automation through a rigid selection admissions procession based on strict adherence to professional requirements.  Once this has been passed, the company moves on to the certification process.  All CEDIA-certified companies and technicians must achieve a minimum amount of CEDIA further education credit hours participating in specialized course every year in order to maintain their certification status. Having an ad-hoc planning method for installations is a crowning achievement in an industry in rapid growth and is only recently beginning to be largely recognized outside the consumer electronics market.  All of this is due to a highly coherent and unique setup that can easily be integrated into residential electronic systems.  Only 7 companies in Italy are enrolled in CEDIA with Raymar enlisted in the category Electronic Systems Professional – Designer & Installer.

<//strong>La guerra ingaggiata dalle case produttrici di dei televisori LCD sembra non avere mai fine. Pare infatti che la crescita delle dimensioni di questi schermi sia oramai inarrestabile e sempre pronta a stupire i consumatori e attirare i curiosi di tutto il mondo. È appena stato presentato intatti alSeatec 2009 il televisore più grande del mondo. Misura ben 108 pollici ed è stato realizzato dall’azienda Raymar, specializzata nel settore audio video per imbarcazioni, con la collaborazione di Sharp. Il Seatec è una fiera che si tiene ogni anno a Marina di Carrara, e rappresenta lo stato dell’arte nel campo delle imbarcazioni e della tecnologia navale. Quest’anno, grazie all’iniziativa di Raymar, ci presenta anche questo prodotto stupefacente. La diagonale misura 2.738 mm, e la risoluzione è di 1.920 x 1.080 full HD, con un pannello TFT a matrice attiva. Ha una larghezza pari a 2.386 mm e un’altezza di 1.344 mm. Naturalmente si tratta di un prototipo, quindi prezzi e tempi di commercializzazione non sono ancora noti, ma siamo sicuri che la guerra degli schermi LCD proseguirà ancora per la gioia di appassionati e cultori del settore.

Sharp and Raymar 

At the Italian trade fair Seatec in Marina di Carrara, nautical technology and system integrator company Raymar premiered the first ever 108” LCD monitor by Sharp, thus the largest so far on the market, along with many new and innovative products.  According to CEO Gianpoalo Piovesan, “within the yachting market demand is always growing for much bigger video screens, an evolving trend that will dictate future production.”  The LB-1085 measures at 238.6 cm. wide and 134.4 cm. wide with a weight of 195 kilos.  Color definition is extremely high (1920 x 1080 pixels) with 76 million colors and a 1200:1 contrast ratio.  The visual angle, an astounding 176 degrees, guarantees perfect viewing from almost any position.
